Community Habitat Programs Inc. is launching a 60-day campaign to raise $175,000 to restore 872–872½ Kenneth Avenue in New Kensington, Pennsylvania—two distressed single-family homes located on one property.

This demonstration project will turn neglected housing into safe, attractive, and productive homes while helping strengthen the surrounding neighborhood. Campaign funds will support property clean-out, title and boundary separation, rehabilitation, safety improvements, professional services, and the preparation of both homes for responsible community use.

This project is about more than repairing buildings. It is an opportunity to remove blight, preserve neighborhood housing, increase community stability, and demonstrate a practical model that can be repeated throughout New Kensington and other underserved communities.
